He/She is responsible for touching up parts as needed to meet quality standards, ensure enough paint is at workstation for color being painted to prevent downtime, testing and adjusting equipment prior to parts arriving at paint booth\nWhat you will be responsible for in this role: \nApplies powder paint coating using manual paint guns while remaining in compliance with all operational and quality standards.\nPromotes and maintains a safe work environment.\nTest and adjust equipment prior to parts arriving at paint booth.\nPreform preventative maintenance on powder booth, spray parts, etc.\nPreform preventative maintenance of washer system as required.\nUtilize a paint gun to paint / powder coat refrigerated display case parts on a suspended conveyor.\nAdjust line speed to correspond with parts being painted.\nPerform color changes following established procedures and time limits.\nInspect completed parts exiting the paint booth for defects and notify lead/supervisor as required.\nUtilize a tape measure, reading to the nearest 1/16\".\nMaintain work area in clean, safe and organized manner.\nEffectively interact and communicate with paint line team leaders and team members.\nAssume other activities and responsibilities from time-to-time as directed by supervision.\nWhat are the basic qualifications?\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nPass Hill PHOENIX certification training.\nPrevious experience in a manufacturing painting position or powder coating experience is preferred.\nKnowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes\nDemonstrated effective communication skills\nEssential Physical/Environmental Requirements:\nMay be required to perform specific tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, or kneeling.\nMust be able to lift with or without mechanical aids on a recurring basis (up to 50 lbs.).\nWork is performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust.\nTo be a great fit for the role:\nOrganizational and time management skills.\nTeam oriented individual who is flexible and adaptable to an ever-changing, fast paced and complex environment.\nAbility to plan and organize and to set priorities in order to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction\nMust be able to follow instructions and exercise good judgment.\nKnowledge to troubleshoot causes of operating errors and decide the best course of action to fix.\nMust have ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently.\nMust have good teamwork and communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.\nMust be able to reach with hands and arms\nMust be able to sit, stoop, and/or kneel\nMust have a positive attitude.\nHow We Define Our Values and Why You Should Join Our Team:\nThe backbone behind our collection of outstanding businesses is a team of dedicated employees who protect and enhance our valued reputation for quality and delivering what we promise.
