multiple client websites.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nWordPress Development & Implementation\n\nBuild, update, and customize WordPress websites from initial requirements through live deployment.\n\nImplement new pages, content, layouts, functionality, and design changes based on approved designs and client specifications.\n\nCustomize WordPress themes, plugins, templates, and modules as needed.\n\nWork independently within WordPress to complete development tasks without requiring step-by-step technical direction.\n\nUse HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress functionality to implement website changes.\n\nWork with WordPress page builders, particularly Elementor and/or Divi.\n\nTranslate designs from Figma and Photoshop into responsive, functional web pages.\n\nDevelop and publish blog content and other website content.\n\nResponsive Design & Quality Assurance\n\nEnsure websites are responsive and function correctly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.\n\nPerform cross-browser testing and troubleshoot compatibility issues.\n\nTest functionality, layouts, links, forms, and other website components before deployment.\n\nIdentify and resolve bugs, errors, and website performance issues.\n\nFollow established development standards, SOPs, and quality-control processes.\n\nWebsite Performance & SEO\n\nImplement website updates with consideration for SEO, performance, accessibility, and user experience.\n\nApply basic SEO principles to page structure, content implementation, metadata, links, images, and other on-page elements.\n\nWork with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and WordPress performance/optimization plugins.\n\nHelp improve website performance and technical quality based on established client goals and internal standards.\n\nCollaboration & Communication\n\nWork closely with designers, content specialists, SEO specialists, Growth team members, and project managers.\n\nCommunicate clearly about project requirements, technical limitations, progress, and issues.\n\nAsk appropriate questions when requirements are unclear and proactively identify potential problems.\n\nManage multiple client projects and prioritize tasks according to deadlines and business requirements.\n\nDocument development processes and significant code or configuration changes.\n\nCollaborate with other developers to improve reusable components, templates, workflows, and development standards.\n\nContinuous Improvement\n\nHelp maintain and expand our library of reusable WordPress templates, components, and custom modules.\n\nContribute ideas for improving development efficiency, website quality, and internal processes.\n\nStay current with WordPress, web development, responsive design, performance, accessibility, and security best practices.\n\nProvide basic guidance or training to clients and internal team members when needed.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nThese are the core requirements for the role:\n\nWordPress Development\n\nDemonstrated experience building and deploying WordPress websites independently.\n\nExperience with WordPress theme and plugin customization.\n\nAbility to take a website task from requirements/design through implementation, QA, and live deployment.\n\nDemonstrated experience with at least one major WordPress page builder, preferably Elementor and/or Divi.\n\nFront-End Development\n\nStrong working knowledge of:HTML5\n\nCSS3\n\nJavaScript\nWorking knowledge of PHP, particularly as it relates to WordPress customization and troubleshooting.\n\nUnderstanding of responsive web development and mobile-first considerations.\n\nQuality Assurance\n\nExperience testing websites across browsers and devices.\n\nStrong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve visual and functional issues.\n\nUnderstanding of website performance and basic accessibility standards.\n\nCommunication\n\nB2+ English proficiency, both written and spoken.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\n\nAbility to work effectively with an international, distributed team.\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects and work independently in an asynchronous environment.\n\nNice-to-Have Qualifications\n\nThese skills are valuable but not required:\n\nExperience with LESS or another CSS preprocessor such as Sass.\n\nExperience with additional WordPress builders such as:WPBakery\n\nDMS\n\nCornerstone\nExperience with GoHighLevel.\n\nAbility to make design decisions and improve the visual appearance of websites without a dedicated designer.\n\nExperience working from Figma and Photoshop files.\n\nFamiliarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.\n\nFamiliarity with SEO principles and on-page optimization.\n\nExperience with WordPress performance optimization plugins.\n\nExperience creating reusable WordPress components, templates, or custom modules.\n\nFamiliarity with web accessibility and security best
