This pipeline opportunity is intended to identify qualified candidates to support financial management, reporting, and audit efforts in alignment with federal accounting standards. Selected candidates will be considered for future openings aligned to mission and financial management priorities.\nResponsibilities\nApply accounting expertise to prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with the federal financial accounting and reporting principles and standards.\nApply experience to improve Property Plan and Equipment data integrity, internal controls, and financial reporting of PP&E, inventory and related property.\nPrepare and analyze financial statements to include but not limited to - Balance Sheets, Statement of Net Cost by Product Line, Statement of Budgetary Resources, Statement of Change in Net Position.\nPerform financial analysis to include but not limited to general ledger review and reconciliation as well as analyzing the expense revenue accounts for accurate reporting on the general ledge accounts.\nPrepare adjustments or correct accounting entries as well as monitoring the budgetary and proprietary relationships for key general ledger accounts.\nQualifications\n10+ years total experience\n5 years experience with federal financial statement auditing and/or federal financial statement preparation\nPrior experience with customer financials preferred (Momentum)\nWorking capital fund experience strongly preferred\nCPA required\nSalary Range\nUSD $160,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
