Develops draft scopes of work, validates requirements, and participates in pre-bid conferences. \nProactively supports the Government’s development of technical requirements, scopes of work, cost estimate analyses, and schedules for A/E services, including studies, reports, and drawing reviews. \nProactively supports the Government’s tracking of construction progress, submittals, permit applications, organization of files, and invoicing as part of a larger team. \nIndependently schedules, leads, and participates in weekly project progress meetings and monthly program progress meetings to evaluate schedule progress, identify departures from the accepted baseline schedule, and evaluate risk to long-term project and program health. \nWorks independently to track down requirements and data from other project managers or clients in a professional manner with complete and timely submissions. \nMaintains construction administration data in Excel, web-based software, and project files for aggregation into metrics and briefing tools for senior leadership. \nDevelops and tracks project lifecycle milestone schedules and Government activities to ensure timely delivery of the Government construction program. Assesses schedule risk and recommends mitigation strategies. \nRegularly prepares and presents project status briefings, develops and maintains performance metrics, and prepares well-written technical reports. Prepares written and oral reports for Government leadership and program managers and briefs senior leadership as required. \nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, science, or mathematics. \n5-7 years of related work experience, including at least 5 years of relevant construction management experience. \nMust be a U.S. Citizen. \nMust be able to obtain and maintain required Government suitability/access credentials, including HSPD-12/Public Trust requirements. \nContractual Equivalency\nCandidates who do not meet the standard education and experience pathway may be considered under the contract’s equivalency provisions:\n15 years of construction-related specialized technical experience; or \nFor non-degree candidates, qualification as a licensed Master Craftsman, licensed journeyman, or holder of an active general contractor license, as applicable. \nAll equivalency submissions are subject to Government acceptance.\nPreferred\nProfessional registration.\nPrevious Pentagon or Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) experience. \nExperience supporting Federal or DoD design and construction programs. \nExperience working with architect-engineer firms, construction contractors, and Government project stakeholders. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills. \nProficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based construction/project management systems. \nSalary Range\nUSD $100,000.00 - USD $107,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
