This role requires a strong background in network engineering, voice and video systems, and secure communications within complex enterprise environments.\nThe ideal candidate will bring advanced technical knowledge, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior government stakeholders.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, implement, and maintain enterprise voice and video communication systems\nEngineer and support VoIP environments using protocols such as SIP, RTP, and H.323\nDesign and optimize Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) to support voice and video traffic\nApply Quality of Service (QoS) principles to ensure high-performance voice communications\nConfigure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN concentrators\nSupport secure voice architectures, including Session Border Controllers (SBCs), TLS encryption, and secure call routing\nIntegrate voice solutions with cloud platforms and hybrid environments\nPerform advanced troubleshooting and traffic analysis using tools such as Wireshark\nCollaborate within multidisciplinary teams to support mission requirements\nDevelop and deliver technical documentation, reports, and briefings\nPresent technical designs, concepts, and results to non-technical stakeholders and senior government personnel\nApply structured engineering design processes to develop innovative, mission-aligned solutions\nTravel is required, up to 10% and is based on customer needs. This may be more of less than what is listed\nQualifications\nRequired:\nActive TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field\n8+ Years of network engineering and administration experience, preferably in remote access environments\nExtensive experience in network engineering and VoIP systems design\nAdvanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking and QoS principles\nExperience with PowerShell and understanding of scripting language formats\nStrong knowledge of virtualization products with a focus on Hyper-V.\nStrong experience designing and implementing LAN/WAN architectures\nAdvanced experience engineering (not just implementing) voice and video technologies\nMust have knowledge of VPN technologies to include OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IP Multicasting\nHands-on experience with VoIP platforms such as Cisco, Asterisk, 3CX, or similar solutions\nExperience configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure components\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience supporting U.S. Government or secure enterprise environments\nExperience with cloud-based voice integration\nKnowledge of Cisco and PolyCom VTC technology\nAn ability to navigate and configure Linux operating systems\nFamiliarity with secure communications architectures and encryption standards\nRelevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, or Voice/Collaboration certifications)\nFamiliar with satellite and wireless communications\nSalary Range\nUSD $180,000.00 - USD $210,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
