# Expert Network Engineer

Description Markon is seeking an Expert Network Engineer to support an Intelligence Community client in Herndon, Virginia. The Network Engineer will work as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team providing technical subject matter expertise in network engineering, telecommunications, and communications modeling. This position will design, integrate, deploy, and support secure enterprise and field communications environments encompassing voice, video, data, LAN/WAN, RF communications, and other network technologies. TRAVEL: The position may require up to 10% CONUS and 10% OCONUS travel, including travel to hazard areas as required. Travel requirements and duration are subject to customer mission needs. Responsibilities Provide network engineering and communications modeling subject matter expertise in support of U.S. Government missions. Translate business requirements into telecommunications requirements, designs, and orders for LAN, MAN, WAN, voice, and video capabilities.
