This role designs, develops, and maintains instructor-led, virtual, and web-based training focused on SIGINT, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), and other advanced technical capabilities. Working closely with subject matter experts and mission stakeholders, the Instructional Designer develops engaging curriculum and learning solutions that enhance workforce readiness and operational effectiveness.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain instructor-led, virtual, and web-based technical training courses supporting mission requirements.\nDevelop curriculum, lesson plans, student guides, instructor materials, presentations, and supporting documentation for complex technical topics.\nDesign interactive learning solutions that incorporate adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.\nDevelop and revise training related to SIGINT, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), C++, and other technical mission capabilities.\nAdminister and support virtual training environments and distance learning platforms.\nCollaborate with subject matter experts to identify training requirements and ensure technical accuracy of course materials.\nEvaluate and update existing curriculum to reflect evolving mission requirements, technologies, and operational procedures.\nDevelop training plans, workshops, seminars, and technical presentations for customer organizations.\nMeasure training effectiveness and recommend improvements to curriculum and instructional delivery.\nTravel as required to support customer training and instructional activities.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nActive TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer. \nBachelor's degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Education, Liberal Arts, or a related discipline, and 10 years of experience developing technical training programs. A master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.\nExperience planning and managing training development for large technical programs.\nExperience designing instructor-led, virtual, and web-based technical training.\nCurrent National Cryptologic University (NCU) certification.\n5 years of experience developing or delivering Digital Signal Processing (DSP) training.\n3 years of SIGINT experience within the Intelligence Community.\nExperience with curriculum development, course maintenance, and instructional design methodologies.\nExperience administering virtual training environments.\nKnowledge of C++ and its application within technical training environments.\nStrong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.\nWillingness to travel.\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience developing training for Intelligence Community technical systems.\nExperience supporting engineering, software development, or RF/SIGINT mission organizations.\nExperience using modern eLearning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).\nExperience evaluating training effectiveness and implementing continuous curriculum improvements.\nSalary Range\nUSD $130,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
