This pipeline opportunity is intended to identify qualified candidates to provide engineering support across facilities, infrastructure, and mission systems. Selected candidates will be considered for future openings aligned to technical engineering and mission support priorities.\nResponsibilities\nProvide engineering review, coordination, and oversight of operations and maintenance, repair, and construction work\nOversee and coordinate activities with the trade shops, including prioritization of work, review of ongoing projects, and inspection of installed equipment\nOversee and coordinate work orders, service orders, and project\nDevelop cost estimates, documents, and reports\nCoordinate energy program and analyzing utility costs\nProvide after hours engineering services in the event of an emergency\nManage project design and/or construction efforts, to include schedule, funding, and day-to-day project oversight\nManage and evaluate construction contractor performance\nIntegrate and coordinate projects with field personnel\nEvaluate, validate, and manage project change requests\nProvide official weekly project status reports\nPrepare and distribute project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams, and stakeholders\nAssist the client's Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) with acquisition planning, execution and administration\nAssist the CO and COTR with conducting pre-bid and pre-construction site visits with the COTR\nProvide invoice supporting information to the COTR for payment\nPrepare and monitor project schedules and budgets; provide technical guidance and assistance on contracting and construction-related issues; direct design efforts; recommend construction documents for approval; and provide oversight of any follow-on maintenance programs\nOptimize performance, cost, and schedule by ensuring project objectives are achieved on schedule and at the lowest cost compatible with user requirements\nConduct design reviews with the customer\nEnsure timely input of all data, comments, and documentation into MAXIMO software project management tool. This requirement applies to all projects, work orders, and tasks across the project lifecycle.\nEnsure integration of all systems, including information technology, telephone, security, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing\nPrepare Contractor Performance Report (CPR) upon contract closeout\nQualifications\nActive TS/SCI FSP required\nBachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering\n7 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering\n2 years of specialized experience in the assigned field (e.g. high voltage power, mechanical systems, fire protection, construction, etc.)\nProfessional (PE) Registration desired\nSalary Range\nUSD $140,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
