Description Markon is seeking a Software Engineer Level 2 to support the Fort Meade Customer. This role focuses on developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions using Python, Linux, and containerization technologies. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using Python. Apply object-oriented programming principles to develop scalable and maintainable software solutions. Develop and support applications within Linux operating environments. Implement test-driven development (TDD) practices to ensure software quality and reliability. Develop, deploy, and maintain applications using containerization technologies. Troubleshoot software issues, debug code, and improve application performance. Collaborate with engineering teams to support software integration, testing, and deployment. Qualifications Requirements Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph through this customer is required. Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of relevant software engineering experience required. Experience with object-oriented programming languages and concepts. Experience developing software using Python.
