This work will support a program in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.\nResponsibilities\nAnalyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements\nDebug existing software and correct defects\nProvide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards\nDesign and code new software or modify existing software to add new features\nIntegrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments\nDevelop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories\nWrite or review software and system doccumenation\nServe as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular project\nDesign or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards\nAssist with developing and executing test procedures for software components\nDevelop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas\nQualifications\nActive TS/SCI W/ Polygraph is required\nFourteen (14) years of experience as a software engineer\nBachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline\nDemonstrated experience with Amazon Web Services is required\nIdeal candidate will have experience using tools such as Jira and/or Confluence\nExperience with one or more of the following technologies: Git Java, C++, or Python Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) is required.\nSalary Range\nUSD $120,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
