Selected candidates will be considered for future openings aligned to mission priorities.\nResponsibilities\nSupport the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications in Linux environments.\nDevelop and modify software using C++ and Java in accordance with established coding standards.\nWrite and maintain scripts using languages such as Shell, Python, JavaScript, Bash, or Perl to support automation and system operations.\nAssist with debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects.\nParticipate in code reviews, testing activities, and documentation efforts.\nFollow established development processes and contribute to technical documentation.\nCollaborate with team members to support software integration and deployment activities.\nLearn and apply best practices for secure and reliable software development.\nQualifications\nTS/SCI w/ active Polygraph with this Customer\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline,OR 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.\nExperience developing or working with software in a Linux environment.\nProficiency in C++ and Java programming languages.\nExperience with 2 or more scripting languages, such as Shell, JavaScript, Python, Bash, or Perl.\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team-oriented development environment.\nStrong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExposure to version control systems (e.g., Git).\nFamiliarity with basic software development lifecycle concepts.\nInterest in working in a mission-focused or secure environment.\nSalary Range\nUSD $85,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
