This role will work with a team of innovative engineers to develop new capabilities supporting the processing of mission-critical data and analytics. The position will contribute to the modernization of existing services and applications, helping to improve performance, scalability, and functionality across a critical mission platform.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance Java-based applications and backend services\nDesign, develop, and support RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures\nSupport modernization efforts for data processing services and mission applications\nCollaborate with engineers and stakeholders to develop and implement new capabilities\nParticipate in Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, code reviews, testing, and deployment\nTroubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and system problems\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation and software artifacts\nSupport software integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment activities\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and software development best practices\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nActive TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer. \nBachelor’s degree and 7+ years of software engineering experience\nExperience developing Java applications and backend services\nExperience developing and supporting RESTful APIs and web services\nExperience working in Agile development environments\nExperience using Git for source code management\nExperience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence\nExperience using IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse IDE\nAbility to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities and mission requirements\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience supporting malware analysis, cybersecurity, or mission-focused analytic platforms\nExperience modernizing legacy applications and processing frameworks\nFamiliarity with enterprise software architectures and distributed systems\nExperience supporting Intelligence Community mission systems and environments\nSalary Range\nUSD $150,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
