Working within an Agile environment, the role leverages open-source technologies, containerized platforms, and AWS cloud services to deliver resilient, high-performance solutions that support evolving mission requirements.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain full-stack applications with a primary focus on scalable backend services and web technologies.\nDevelop enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, and RESTful service architectures.\nDesign and optimize distributed applications emphasizing high availability, scalability, concurrency, and performance.\nDevelop and optimize multi-threaded Java applications supporting mission-critical workloads.\nDesign, develop, and maintain APIs and messaging solutions using REST and Java Message Service (JMS).\nDevelop cloud-native applications utilizing AWS services, Amazon RDS, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, Rancher, and Tomcat.\nDesign and optimize data solutions using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, and other enterprise database platforms.\nIntegrate open-source frameworks, libraries, and enterprise technologies to deliver modern software capabilities.\nBuild and maintain software using Git, Maven, Jira, and Confluence while supporting Agile development practices.\nCollaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, and Government stakeholders to deliver secure, maintainable, and production-ready mission solutions.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nActive TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer.\nBachelor's degree and 20+ years of software engineering experience.\nExpert experience developing full-stack applications with a strong emphasis on Java-based backend services.\nExpert experience with Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, RESTful services, and Java threading.\nExperience developing distributed, high-availability enterprise applications.\nExperience with AWS cloud services, Amazon RDS, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, Rancher, and Tomcat.\nExperience developing applications using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, or comparable enterprise database technologies.\nExperience with Java Message Service (JMS) and enterprise messaging architectures.\nExperience integrating open-source frameworks, libraries, and enterprise technologies.\nExperience using Git, Maven, Jira, and Confluence within Agile development environments.\nStrong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience with Kibana, Alfresco, or enterprise content management platforms.\nExperience developing applications using Node.js, Svelte, React, or Angular.\nExperience designing large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.\nExperience supporting Intelligence Community mission applications.\nSalary Range\nUSD $225,000.00 - USD $235,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
