The Software Engineer will design, develop, integrate, and maintain high-performance applications using C++ and Python, working closely with systems engineers and operations teams to deliver reliable and secure solutions.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C++ and Python.\nSupport integration of software components within larger system architectures.\nParticipate in requirements analysis, design reviews, and technical evaluations.\nTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.\nContribute to software documentation, including design artifacts and technical reports.\nCollaborate with systems engineering, operations, and mission stakeholders.\nSupport software configuration management and version control processes.\nApply secure coding practices and support compliance with security standards.\nQualifications\nTS/SCI w/ active Polygraph with this Customer\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field plus 14 years of relevant experience.\nStrong experience developing software in C++ and Python.\nExperience with object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.\nFamiliarity with Linux-based development environments.\nExperience supporting software development in mission-critical or production environments.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.\nSalary Range\nUSD $200,000.00 - USD $230,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
