This role leads the implementation of packet-based hardware and software solutions utilizing Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) technologies while driving end-to-end systems integration across hardware, software, and network components. The position serves as a senior technical authority responsible for ensuring interoperability, operational performance, system reliability, and mission success across complex enterprise environments.\nResponsibilities\nLead the design, integration, testing, deployment, training, and sustainment of packet-based hardware and software systems\nProvide technical leadership across all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle\nDrive end-to-end systems integration efforts across hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure components\nDevelop and evaluate system architectures, technical solutions, and engineering strategies\nLead requirements analysis, system design reviews, and technical assessments\nOversee system testing, validation, troubleshooting, and operational readiness activities\nEnsure interoperability, performance, reliability, and security of deployed solutions\nCoordinate with Government stakeholders, engineering teams, vendors, and mission partners to support program objectives\nDevelop and maintain engineering documentation, implementation plans, and technical roadmaps\nMentor junior engineers and provide guidance on systems engineering best practices\nSupport technology modernization and system enhancement initiatives\nQualifications\nRequirements:\nActive TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with ths customer \nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field required\n20+ years of systems engineering experience supporting complex communications, networking, or enterprise technology environments\nExperience leading the design, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of packet-based systems\nExtensive experience with COTS and GOTS hardware and software solutions\nStrong experience driving end-to-end systems integration across hardware, software, and network components\nExperience developing system architectures, technical roadmaps, and engineering solutions\nStrong understanding of systems engineering principles, requirements management, and lifecycle processes\nExperience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinating with senior stakeholders\nExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief technical and non-technical audiences\nAbility to operate effectively in a dynamic, mission-focused environment supporting critical operations\nSalary Range\nUSD $200,000.00 - USD $220,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
