It's a fast-paced logistics operation where thousands of products will be received, processed and dispatched every day.\nThis is a full-time position contracted for 40 hours a week.\nThese roles will be responsible for statistically analysing quality defects and inventory integrity errors in order to see opportunities for improvement and make recommendations that can be implemented and sustained across various areas of the Lichfield site.\nWhat you’ll do\nYour key accountabilities will include:\nCreating data through Power BI dashboard reporting and visuals to support driving action\nImprove the efficiency and speed of Site Analytics production through increased automation of tasks and identification and reuse of known good data sets\nUnderstand how to manipulate and link different data sources to deliver accurate and timely reporting\nUse data to “answer” business questions and deliver reports, presentations and compelling arguments\nGenerate effective analysis through data mining and presentation of data with clear recommendations and subsequent actions\nWho you are\nYour skills and experience will include:\nThe ability to gather, interpret, and gain insights from large amounts of data to answer business questions and drive business decisions\nUsing large datasets using frameworks such as Azure data lake services and Azure synapse understanding how to access and join data from different databases\nKnowledge of one or more machine learning tools, techniques, data bases and decisioning packages e.g. R, Python, SQL, NoSQL, Excel (Advanced), Visual Studio\nWorking experience using visualisation tools such as Power BI, Spotfire, Tableau\nThe ability to present sophisticated technical Data to non-technical audiences through presentations\nPlease note that we will operate a random Drug & Alcohol testing Policy at Lichfield.\nWhat’s in it for you?\nWorking at M&S means being part of something bigger - helping to deliver quality, value and service to millions of customers every day.
