Acts as hands-on design authority across the connectivity domain.\nWhat you'll do\nLead the design and governance of secure, resilient and scalable connectivity solutions across the M&S estate.\nTranslate business, functional and non-functional requirements into practical solutions that deliver business outcomes.\nAct as the design authority for connectivity services, ensuring alignment with enterprise technology strategy.\nCreate and maintain reference architectures, engineering standards and reusable connectivity patterns.\nChampion automation, Infrastructure as Code and documentation-as-code while providing technical leadership across the connectivity community.\nWho you are\nExpert knowledge of enterprise networking technologies and substantial experience designing complex, large-scale connectivity solutions.\nDeep expertise in campus, datacentre and wireless networking, including SD-WAN and Azure networking.\nStrong knowledge of network security and core services, including DNS, DHCP and IPAM.\nProficiency in Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code and the automation of connectivity solutions.\nExceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work at both strategic and detailed technical levels.\nWhat’s in it for you?\nWorking at M&S means being part of something bigger - helping to deliver quality, value and service to millions of customers every day.
