emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized persons by calling police, fire departments and/or local emergency response teams.\nMakes periodic patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons\nPrepare clear, concise, accurate reports.\nOperate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, navigate security software systems or applications and use email.\nDemonstrate strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance.\nDemonstrate experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications and performing in a high-pressure environment\nOther duties to be determined by security supervisor\n\nQualifications:\nPrior law enforcement experience, military and/or corrections experience\nApplicants must meet one or any reasonable combination of the following requirements:Two years of customer service experience\nTwo years of security experience\nLaw Enforcement Experience\nCorrections Experience\nMilitary Experience\nBachelors Degree in Criminal Justice or something similar\n\nRequirements:\nValid state licensing, if applicable\n21 years of age and High School Diploma or equivalent\nAbility to pass a criminal background check and drug test.\nTechnology skills: operate access control system, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email.\nStrong customer service skills, professional demeanor and appearance.\nExperience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications while performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands.\nFamiliarity with report writing\nExcellent surveillance and observation skills\nPossess above average written and verbal communication skills.\nPossess strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public.\nTrained in CPR and First Aid
