This position requires a professional, alert, and dependable individual who can observe and report security concerns, enforce site policies, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service.\nThe Security Guard will perform duties according to the assigned post orders, company policies, client requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nMonitor and patrol assigned premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security risks.\n\nControl access to buildings, facilities, parking areas, and other designated locations.\n\nVerify identification, maintain visitor logs, and enforce site access procedures.\n\nObserve and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, policy violations, and unusual incidents.\n\nRespond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, disturbances, and other security-related situations.\n\nPrepare accurate, detailed, and timely incident reports, daily activity reports, and other required documentation.\n\nMaintain a visible security presence while providing professional and courteous customer service.\n\nFollow assigned post orders, emergency procedures, and company policies.\n\nCommunicate effectively with supervisors, clients, law enforcement, emergency responders, and other personnel as needed.\n\nConduct security checks and inspections in accordance with site requirements.\n\nMaintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.\n\nAttend required training sessions and maintain all required credentials.\n\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nMust possess effective verbal and written communication skills.\n\nMust be able to read, understand, and follow written instructions, site procedures, and post orders.\n\nMust be able to complete incident reports and maintain accurate records.\n\nMust be able to work independently and as part of a security team.\n\nPrevious security, customer service, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required, depending on the assignment.\n\nCore Competencies\nSituational awareness and attention to detail\n\nProfessionalism and customer service\n\nReliability and punctuality\n\nConflict de-escalation and problem-solving\n\nClear communication and report writing\n\nIntegrity and confidentiality\n\nAbility to remain calm under pressure\n\nDisclaimer\nThis job description summarizes the general duties and responsibilities of the position and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job functions.
