You’ll be responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining permits through to completion; enabling works to progress safely, legally, and in line with project schedules.\nKey Responsibilities\nManaging and tracking permit applications to completion, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and deadlines\nRaising, coordinating, and closing works notices in a timely and accurate manner\nMonitoring permit durations, ensuring works remain on schedule and arranging extensions where required\nLiaising closely with Project Managers and Supervisors to coordinate and manage road space bookings effectively\nMaintaining accurate permitting records and trackers using Excel and Microsoft Teams\nBuilding and maintaining strong working relationships with Local Authorities and other key stakeholders\nCo-ordinate with 3rd parties regarding; bus stop suspensions, parking suspensions, Temporary Traffic Orders (TTO’s) and TMAN applications\nMonitor reinstatement inspections and proactively resolve any issues relating to Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) and inspection data\nPreparing and reporting on monthly KPI data.\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\n2-3 years’ experience in a similar permit coordination or streetworks administration role (utilities or highways experience preferred)\nStrong understanding of permit durations, extensions and FPN’s\nConfident Excel skills, with the ability to analyse, interpret, and report on data\nExperience with Confirm, Symology, Causeway, Mayrise or Street Manager (desirable) \nExcellent organisational and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail\nSolid understanding of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Traffic Management Act 2004, and the London Permit Scheme\nBenefits and Our Values\nBenefits\nAccess to 24/7 GP Service\nMedicash Cashback Scheme\nRetail Discounts\nEmployee Assistance Programme\nReward and Recognition Programme\nDeath in Service Cover\nLearning and Development Opportunities\n\nWe know people matter - We respect, care, and invest in our people, the communities in which we work and our common future.
