Serving freight and tank car fleets across multiple industries, we are committed to safety, compliance, quality, and reliable service.\nJob Description:\nWe are looking for a Blaster to operate blasting equipment to remove rust, scale, paint and other foreign materials from the interior and exterior of railcars and its related equipment. This is a role where you will work in a TEAM environment where safety always comes first.\nJob Requirements:\nOperate blasting equipment to remove scale, paint and other foreign substances from inside and/or outside of railcars and other materials to prime, paint and stencil the interior and/or exterior surfaces of railcars or equipment.\n\nAdjust equipment as necessary to perform efficient and proper blasting.\n\nSurface preparation of non-finished railcars and components using various blast media methods.\n\nPerform preventative maintenance procedures for blast and recovery systems.\n\nThe ability to work in adverse weather conditions.\n\nThe ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.\n\nThe ability to lift 50 pounds with proper body mechanics.\n\nAbility to work within a teamwork environment with regular and predictable attendance.\n\nKeep materials area and other work areas clean and orderly and report potential hazards.\n\nAble to pass drug screen, physical.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nTransco strives to be the Employer of Choice.
