Reviews and interprets engineering blueprints, technical plans, work orders, and material specifications to establish accurate machining parameters, surface locations, and tooling references. Conducts regular in-process inspections and real-time machine adjustments to verify setup accuracy, maintain tight tolerances, and consistently meet quality standards.Essential Duties:\nOperate computer numerically controlled machine tools and related auxiliary equipment to perform a variety of machining operations.\nAbility to read and understand technical drawings and sketches.\nUse drawings, sketches, program instructions, charts, tables, specifications, verbal and/or written instructions.\nSelect and Transfer programs from server to machine and back to server.\nPerform mathematical computations necessary to perform the required operations.\nMake ordinary setups using fixtures, drill jigs, vises, blocks, shims, clamps, angle plates, and collets as specified.\nCheck and document own work for compliance with drawing requirements. \nDetect and replace dull tooling, adjust and maintain setups as necessary.\nPerform and document completion of operator-specific maintenance tasks, as and when assigned.\nDetect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations, and unusual conditions, drawing and routing errors to department supervisor.\nObserve all prescribed safety rules and regulations including proper use of PPE\nMaintain neat and orderly work area, apply and maintain 5S methods.\nConcentrated mental and visual attention and manual dexterity required.\nPerform other related duties as assigned or directed.\nundefined\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.
