This position reports to the Maintenance Lead/Supervisor and works with Maintenance and Engineering teams to install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify automated production equipment, industrial robots, and electrical control systems.Minimum Requirements and Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required preferred\n\nAssociate degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, or Automation preferred\n\n3 to 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in an automated manufacturing or industrial environment.\n\nExperience troubleshooting motors, drives, electrical circuits, hydraulic systems, power transmission, and robotics.\n\nExperience with all levels of Allen Bradley software Slice to RS Studio 5000, Siemens Software (Block logic), Read electrical, and mechanical diagrams.\n\nExperience with Cad software system for design.\n\nProficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.\nProblem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues\n\nStrong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.\n\nEffective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.\n\nCommitment to safety protocols and the ability to work in a safety-conscious manner\n\nMajor Responsibility Areas and Duties\nResponsible for responding to all unplanned downtime or breakdowns on machines.\n\nPlan and execute maintenance activities for non-routine problems or issues. Perform root-cause analysis on equipment failures to minimize future production downtime.\n\nDesign, fabricate and install mechanical and electronic equipment and perform program changes.\n\nBe engaged in safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.\n\nAssist in the planning, coordination and performance of shutdown and major maintenance activities.\n\nComplete all training as required and perform OJT to other employees as required.\n\nWork with minimal supervision.\n\nPerform housekeeping of shop and areas where maintenance activities were performed.\n\nWire and repair electric motors, repair basic wiring according to NEC.\n\nResponsible for maintaining and troubleshooting problems with AC drive systems and PLCs. Should be able to access and interpret PLC logic via a laptop computer or other using the appropriate communication language.\n\nPerform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on plant equipment, to include lubrication, repairs, and adjustments, cleaning, and troubleshooting.\n\nAdvises operators and others of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment and components.\n\nInstalls, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with safety procedures.\n\nPerforms lockouts or tag out as required.\n\nAdditional duties as assigned, not determined at the time of hire.\n\nPhysical Requirements and Environmental Conditions\nStand for long periods of time.\nAbility to work at heights on occasion.\nAbility to work in cold, heat, noise, dust, fumes, paint, chemicals, oils, etc.\nMust be able to lift 50 lbs.\nAbility to work at heights on occasion.
