If you're a practical problem-solver who enjoys building relationships, taking initiative and driving real improvements, we want to hear from you!\nWhat you’ll bring to the team:\nRelevant qualifications in Work Health and Safety, HSE or a related discipline, supported by practical industry experience.\nDemonstrated experience in an HSE advisory or operational safety role, ideally within construction, mining, heavy industry or a similar high-risk environment.\nSound knowledge of WHS legislation, regulatory requirements, risk management principles and HSE management systems.\nExperience conducting workplace inspections, safety audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage, coach and influence employees and operational leaders at all levels.\nA proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a genuine commitment to continuous improvement.\nThe ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nChampion safety on the ground by providing practical HSE advice, coaching and technical guidance to operational teams, supervisors and site leadership.\nIdentify risks before they become incidents through proactive workplace inspections, safety audits, hazard identification and risk assessments.\nDrive effective incident management by supporting investigations, identifying root causes and coordinating corrective and preventative actions.\nInspire a positive safety culture by delivering toolbox talks, supporting safety training and encouraging employee participation in HSEQ initiatives.\nStrengthen compliance and accountability by supporting the implementation of HSE legislation, management systems, policies and site-specific requirements.\nPartner with operational teams to develop practical risk controls
