We’recommitted to making a positive impact on the world, providing you with diverse learning and working opportunities, and fostering a culture where everyone’sempowered to be their best.\nThe Inside Sales Representative is primarily responsible for managing customer relationships and supporting commercial transactions while ensuring exceptional customer service and accurate order processing.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nMaintain commercial relationships with existing accounts and ensure customer database accuracy.\nProcess customer orders accurately and in a timely manner while coordinating with Sales, Finance, Operations, and other internal departments.\nVerify pricing and order terms using established pricing guidelines and published pricing sheets.\nPrepare and distribute Sales Order Acknowledgements and other required customer documentation.\nAttend production meetings and collaborate with Operations to monitor order status, communicate schedule changes, and escalate critical customer concerns.\nProcess customer credits and complaints in accordance with company policies and procedures.\nWork cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales to resolve issues related to purchase orders, shipments, invoicing, and product quality.\nDevelop product knowledge to provide accurate quotations and support customer inquiries.\nServe as a backup for other Inside Sales team members as needed.\nParticipate in Lean/5S and continuous improvement initiatives.\nMaintain compliance with all environmental, health, safety, quality, and government sanction screening requirements.\nEnsure compliance with ISO Quality System procedures.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nEducation & Experience\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\n0-2 years of sales, customer service, or related experience preferred.\nDemonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nExcellent customer service and telephone communication skills.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers.\nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive tasks.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.\nAdvanced Excel skills with the ability to develop, maintain, merge, and analyze spreadsheets and data.\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.\nTeam-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.\nWorking Conditions & Physical Requirements\nAbility to work in a primarily sedentary environment, including extended periods of sitting, computer use, and repetitive motions.\nAbility to occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds.\nAbility to work collaboratively with manufacturing personnel in a production environment that may be noisy.\nAbility to follow safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE when required.\nMarmon Industrial is an Equal Opportunity Employer and makes employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.\nFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processesas permitted or required by applicable law.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
