experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment setting and operating machinery in a sheet metal environment.\nDesired experience and qualifications\nExperience operating manufacturing machinery.\nUnderstanding of metal processing, stamping, presswork, or coil-fed production lines.\nAbility to set up and adjust feed lengths, speeds, and guides.\nExperience loading and handling steel, metal coils.\nKnowledge of quality inspection techniques using gauges, micrometres, or measuring equipment.\nBasic fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.\nSafe use of moving machinery and guarding systems.\nManual handling and overhead crane operation (often required for loading coils).\nAwareness of PUWER regulations if working in the UK.\nUnderstanding of risk assessments and safe systems of work.\nReading engineering drawings.\nPerforming first-off and in-process quality checks.\nRecording production data.\nIdentifying material defects.\nWorking to production targets and KPIs.\nBasic maintenance and lubrication tasks.\nBeneficial Qualifications\nCounterbalance FLT licence.\nOverhead crane certificate.\nManufacturing NVQ Level 2 or 3.\nMechanical engineering or production engineering qualifications.\nLean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement training.\nFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processesas permitted or required by applicable
