Additionally, they are responsible for scheduling facility and property maintenance with outside vendors and maintaining department metrics.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent (required). A technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.\nAt least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position.\n \"> \">undefinedSPECIAL SKILLS: Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and understanding of various industrial machinery and systemsProven experience in maintenance management, preferably within the manufacturing industryLeadership and supervisory skills to effectively manage a team of techniciansProblem solving and diagnostic abilities to analyze equipment issues and find solutionsKnowledge of safety regulations and proceduresStrong communications skills to collaborate with production on timelines and schedulesProficiency in word, excel, and online CMMS systems\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupervise and coordinate the daily maintenance activities, ensuring that all machines, equipment, and systems are functioning efficiently and safely.\nDesign and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance plans to identify potential issues before major breakdowns occur, including scheduling routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication and coolant procedures.\nDiagnose equipment malfunctions, coordinate necessary repairs, and oversee the timely completion of corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime.\nTroubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other system issues as they arise, using outside contractor help, as necessary.\nMaintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment required for maintenance activities.\nTrack maintenance costs, manage spare parts inventory, and work within allocated budget to optimize maintenance spend.\nEnsure all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment.\nAnalyze maintenance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and report on monthly metrics.\nManage relationships with outside vendors for equipment repairs, maintenance contracts, and parts procurement.\nMaintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including repair logs, inspection reports, and work orders.\nIdentify opportunities to optimize maintenance processes, implement new technologies, and enhance equipment reliability.\nCoordinate and install new equipment and the removal of existing equipment, as required.\nMaintain power consumption data for all equipment and keep our Arc flash safety program updated annually.\nReview maintenance personnel skill set annually and suggest additional training needs as needed by the company and to foster professional growth. \nAid in selection and installation of new/replacement equipment.\nTake part in risk assessments for the department and the company wide management review process.\nPerform other duties, as assigned.\nundefined REQUIRED PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing for more than 1 hour, walking more than 100 ft., reach above, at or below shoulders, climb stairs, bend, stoop, and/or squat, grasping, hand/wrist twisting, lifting of up to 50 lbs.\nFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processesas permitted or required by applicable law.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
