We’recommitted to making a positive impact on the world, providing you with diverse learning and working opportunities, and fostering a culture where everyone’sempowered to be their best.\nFreo Group is looking for a highly organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to support our operational activities across our Port Hedland Branch.This is a hands-on coordination role where you'll sit at the centre of operations, working closely with Superintendents, Supervisors, Operations Managers, employees, customers and support teams to help ensure our workforce, equipment, mobilisation and administrative requirements come together safely and efficiently.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nYour responsibilities will include:\nCoordinating daily labour, equipment and resource requirements\nSupporting workforce planning and look-ahead scheduling\nCoordinating shutdown, maintenance and project support requirements\nManaging employee mobilisation, including flights, accommodation, travel and site access\nEnsuring licences, VOCs, inductions, competencies, medicals and compliance records remain current\nCoordinating site inductions and onboarding requirements\nProcessing timesheets and supporting payroll requirements\nSupporting invoicing, billing, purchase orders and revenue administration\nMaintaining accurate operational records, documentation and reporting\nAssisting with procurement, quotations, purchase requisitions and goods receipting\nProviding timely operational and mobilisation updates to customers and internal stakeholders\nSupporting safe work practices and Freo Group's Zero Harm culture\nAbout you\nYou'll thrive in this role if you're someone who enjoys bringing structure to a busy operational environment and can confidently manage competing priorities.\nIdeally, you'll bring:\nExperience in operations coordination, administration, mobilisation or workforce planning\nExposure to mining, maintenance, industrial services, crane or construction environments is desirable\nExperience with mobilisation systems and workforce compliance management is desirable\nExposure to payroll, invoicing and procurement processes is desirable\nStrong organisational and time-management skills\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy\nIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills\nStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills\nThe ability to remain flexible and responsive as operational priorities change\nA commitment to safe work practices, confidentiality and great customer service\nWorking arrangements\nThe role requires coordination across both the branch and site environment, including rostered work locations at the Port Hedland Branch.\nWhy this role matters\nYou'll be a key link between our operational teams, workforce, customers and support functions.
