You’ll be responsible for maintaining production flow, allocating resources, managing department KPIs, and driving continuous improvement while keeping safety and quality at the forefront.\nThis is a hands-on leadership role that will work closely with Scheduling, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and HR to resolve production issues, support new product introductions, and continuously improve how we operate.\nProduction & Operational Execution\nLead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, productivity, cost, and delivery targets.\nMonitor department KPIs and production performance, using data to adjust priorities, allocate resources, and maintain production flow.\nDistribute workloads effectively and adapt to changing production schedules and priorities.\nIdentify and resolve production issues quickly while maintaining safety and quality standards.\nHold the production team accountable for department performance, operational results, and established KPIs.\nEnsure employees follow SOPs, company standards, and applicable regulations.\nSafety, Quality & Compliance\nChampion a safety-first culture by modeling safe behaviors and reinforcing safe work practices, housekeeping standards, Hazmat requirements, and SOPs.\nConduct safety audits, incident reporting, and investigations and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.\nOwn production quality performance by monitoring output, addressing deviations in real time, and implementing sustainable corrective actions.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, security protocols, and protection of company property and intellectual property.\nPeople Leadership & Team Development\nLead, coach, train, and develop a high-performing production team focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nSet clear expectations, provide timely feedback, and support employee development and career growth.\nOversee hiring, onboarding, cross-training, and performance management.\nBuild a safe, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment that supports employee engagement and operational performance.\nContinuous Improvement & Communication\nLead Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and strengthen operational performance.\nIdentify opportunities to improve throughput, material flow, production layouts, and process efficiency while reducing costs and scrap.\nMonitor and manage production costs, scrap, and material usage to support department performance and profitability.\nPartner with Scheduling, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and HR to resolve issues and support manufacturing readiness and new product introductions.\nCommunicate production priorities, issues, and performance clearly and proactively to keep teams and stakeholders aligned.\nWhat You’ll Need\nEducation & Experience\nAssociate degree preferred; equivalent manufacturing leadership experience will be considered.\n5+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.\n3+ years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership capacity preferred.\nTechnical Knowledge\nStrong understanding of Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nWorking knowledge of quality systems, material flow, and inventory control principles.\nExperience analyzing production data and using metrics to make operational decisions.\nSolid computer skills, including Microsoft Office;
