You will also participate in the ISO 9001 program along with other quality activities driving continuous improvement efforts across the organization.\nOverall Responsibilities:\nThe list below highlights the essential job responsibilities but is not exhaustive.\nReview customer specifications, engineering drawings, P&IDs, code compliance and regulatory requirements.\nDevelop project quality program, inspection and test plans, inspection scheme, inspection package and documentation requirements\nReview vendor documentation accordingly through to final acceptance and prepare final documentation for customer\nComplete inspections of equipment, assemblies and components confirming compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and codes.\nGenerate and close out process and product non-conformances\nEngage in corrective and preventative action plans\nPerform vendor qualification audits and quality program analysis\nProvide interdepartmental support as needed regarding Quality questions and concerns, including vendor clarification\nTravel required: 1-4 hours driving locally, occasional domestic travel necessary (approx. 1-2 days per month)\nOther assigned duties and responsibilities\nQualifications, Skills, Competencies:\nEngineering Degree\n3-5 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role involving inspections (preferably with Pressure Vessels, Pressure Piping / customized industrial equipment)\nCWI (Certified Welding Inspector) Credentials or ability to obtain within one year\nFamiliar with the NDE techniques, RT, UT, MT & PT \nExperience with piping, pressure vessels, valves, tanks, PVC, FRP, HDPE\nStrong knowledge of ASME Section VIII Div. 1, ASME B31.1/31.3\nUnderstanding of other international code requirements, CSA , AWS, API, PED,, , NACE, AWWA. \nKnowledge of ISO 9001 standards\nWell organized, with effective time management and superior communication skills.\nMentoring and coaching\nDetail oriented with a commitment to accuracy.\nAbility to work as part of a team and individually on multifaceted tasks and projects.\nProficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook\nTravel Requirement:\nTravel required: 1-4 hours driving locally, occasional domestic travel necessary (approx. 1-2 days per month)\nLearn more about Marmon Industrial Water www.marmonindustrialwater.com\nFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processesas permitted or required by applicable law.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
