This is a strong entry-level opportunity for someone interested in building a long-term career in sales and gaining hands-on experience with the sales process.\nIn this role, you will develop an understanding of customer needs while building knowledge of company systems, products, and supply chain processes. The Sales Coordinator works closely with Sales, Procurement, Operations, Credit, suppliers, processors, and other internal teams to help ensure customer requests are handled accurately, efficiently, and professionally.\nThis position also supports customer communication, maintains sales tools and account records, and contributes to a positive customer experience while gaining exposure to the core functions of the business and developing a strong foundation for future growth within sales.\nThis position can be based out of our Bolingbrook, IL or East Butler, PA office.\nPay Range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nHandle customer inquiries, order requests, and information requests in a timely, professional, and accurate manner.\nEnter, review, and maintain customer orders in company systems.\nCoordinate customer order activity, including order changes, cancellations, acknowledgements, shipment updates, advance shipping notices (ASN’s), proof of delivery (POD’s), and related documentation.\nExpedite customer orders and requests by following up with internal departments, suppliers, processors, and vendors as needed.\nManage daily email and phone communication to ensure customers and sales-related requests are addressed promptly, professionally, and accurately.\nMaintain clear and consistent communication with customers, sales staff, and internal departments.\nManage customer contact information, pricing updates, and other sales-related tools.\nAssist with customer portals, scorecards, forecasts, and other account-specific requirements.\nCoordinate with Credit, Procurement, Operations, and other departments to help resolve customer questions or order-related issues.\nAssist with RMA, RA, PPAP, and other customer or quality-related processes as needed.\nHelp identify process gaps, communication issues, or inefficiencies that may impact customer satisfaction, accuracy, or profitability.\nGain an understanding of the sales and procurement process, including how customer forecasts drive demand.\nWork alongside management and sales staff on overflow work, reporting, and administrative tasks.\nLearn the basics of reading prints and understanding customer-specific documentation.\nParticipate in training and development to build industry, product, system, and customer knowledge.\nLearn company systems, policies, sales processes, pricing guidelines, and customer requirements.\nBuild product knowledge and gain an understanding of customer-specific material specifications\nOccasional travel to customers, suppliers, or vendors may be required as business needs.\nWhat Makes You a Strong Fit:\nBachelor’s degree required in business management, marketing, supply chain, or related field.\nPrior customer service, administrative, sales support, or office experience preferred.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nComfortable learning web-based systems, customer portals, and internal business applications.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.\nStrong follow-up skills and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.\nBasic math skills and ability to review information for accuracy.\nPositive attitude, professional demeanor, and willingness to learn.\nPrior sales or metals industry experience is helpful, but not required.\nWhy You’ll Love Working at Marmon/Keystone:\nCompetitive Pay & Benefits - Health, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and more upon hire!\nCareer Growth - We invest in training and development to help you succeed.\nJob Stability - Be part of a strong, growing industry that has been growing since 1907.\nA Great Team - Work with supportive colleagues in a positive environment.\n***Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
