This role owns preventive and predictive maintenance programs, drives continuous improvement in equipment reliability, manages maintenance labor and contractors, and partners with Production, Engineering, Quality, and EHS to reduce downtime and support business goals.\nChampion a safety-first culture; ensure compliance with all EHS requirements, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, hot work, confined space, and electrical safety.\n\nPlan, organize, and direct daily maintenance activities for production assets and facilities, including corrective repairs and emergency response.\n\nDevelop, implement, and sustain preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce unplanned downtime and extend asset life.\n\nOwn equipment reliability performance and drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action to eliminate repeat failures.\n\nPartner with Operations to optimize line uptime, changeovers, and planned downtime; coordinate weekly and outage schedules.\n\nManage the maintenance work management process using the site CMMS (work requests, planning, scheduling, execution, closeout, and history).\n\nLead shutdown/outage planning and execution, including scope definition, risk review, resource loading, and post-outage lessons learned.\n\nSupervise, coach, and develop maintenance personnel; set expectations, conduct performance reviews, and support training and certification.\n\nCoordinate contractors and vendors (selection, scope, safety orientation, quality of work, and cost control); ensure adherence to site policies.\n\nManage maintenance budget, overtime, and spend; track and report key metrics and implement cost-reduction initiatives without compromising safety or reliability.\n\nOversee MRO/spare parts strategy (critical spares, min/max levels, obsolescence, kitting) and collaborate with Purchasing/Stores to maintain availability.\n\nSupport capital projects and new equipment installations by providing maintainability input (PM plans, spare parts, documentation, commissioning support).\n\nEnsure maintenance documentation is current and controlled (SOPs, PM checklists, equipment manuals, prints, calibration/inspection records where applicable).\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/TPM/5S) in collaboration with cross-functional teams.\n\nPrepare and communicate reports on maintenance performance (e.g., safety leading indicators, PM compliance, downtime, MTBF/MTTR, backlog, cost) and present action plans to leadership.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nWhat You’ll Need\n5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (24/7 operations preferred).\n\nDemonstrated knowledge of industrial maintenance practices across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.\n\nExperience building and sustaining PM/PdM programs and driving reliability improvements (RCA, FMEA, failure elimination).\n\nWorking knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe work practices (including LOTO) with a track record of leading a safe team.\n\nExperience planning/scheduling maintenance work, managing backlog, and using a CMMS to manage work orders and asset history.\n\nStrong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functionally.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to analyze downtime and cost data.\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, Industrial Technology, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.\n\nPreferred: Technical/trade background with advanced training in industrial electrical or mechanical maintenance.\n\nPreferred: OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, or related safety training;
