Here, people are encouraged to do work that matters, lead at every level, and win a better way through collaboration, continuous improvement, and meaningful results.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a Manufacturing Optimization Engineer III, you will help M&M improve manufacturing performance by turning observations, data, and operational needs into practical, sustainable solutions. You will work closely with plant leaders, frontline teams, engineering, maintenance, and the group automation team to strengthen processes, support change, and identify where technology can create measurable value.\nParticipate in Gemba walks and evaluate manufacturing operations to identify process gaps, waste, and improvement opportunities.\nMap and improve end-to-end value streams to increase throughput, strengthen material flow, reduce waste, and improve process consistency.\nLead Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, standard work development, root cause analysis, and other continuous improvement activities.\nPartner with plant managers and operational leaders to build alignment, support change adoption, and sustain improvements over time.\nEvaluate facility layouts, equipment utilization, tooling, work methods, and production processes to recommend practical improvements.\nIdentify and scope automation opportunities based on validated operational needs, then collaborate with automation and technical resources through implementation.\nTranslate data, observations, and stakeholder feedback into prioritized improvement roadmaps with clear goals, owners, and measurable outcomes.\nUse performance data and manufacturing metrics to guide decisions, track results, and communicate progress.\nPresent findings, recommendations, implementation plans, and business impacts to plant and senior leadership.\nContribute to the EZ Filter baseline project during the first 90 days, helping establish achievable goals, optimize the line layout, and prepare the process for future automation.\nWhat You’ll Need\nBachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or a related field.\nFive or more years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, continuous improvement, manufacturing operations, or manufacturing transformation.\nStrong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, standard work, root cause analysis, and waste reduction methods.\nDemonstrated experience implementing process improvements and helping teams adopt operational changes.\nProject management experience with the ability to independently manage priorities and drive work through completion.\nExperience supporting automation-related initiatives by defining process requirements, validating benefits, or coordinating with technical resources.\nWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to influence and build trust across operations, engineering, maintenance, quality, and leadership teams.\nAbility to work onsite in Fort Worth, spend significant time on the manufacturing floor, and travel approximately 10% to 15% between company locations, vendors, and occasional trade shows.\nWhat Wil Set You Apart\nExperience in automotive, sheet metal, metals, HVAC, or a similar industrial manufacturing environment.\nSix Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, Lean certification, or equivalent continuous improvement experience.\nExperience facilitating Kaizen events, change management activities, or cross-functional improvement workshops.\nExposure to automation, robotics, Industry 4.0, or digital manufacturing tools.\nExperience with SolidWorks, Power BI, digital factory modeling, simulation tools, or data visualization.\nExperience translating operational needs into clear process requirements for engineering, automation, maintenance, or IT partners.\nPractical experience with preventative maintenance programs.\nWhat You’ll Gain\nYou will join a team where your contributions can make a visible difference.
