This position is a key member of a great team that enables production.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\n-Operate all machinery associated with production needs.\n-Load and unload machines.\n-Perform simple sub-assemblies.\n-Quality inspectingall parts.\n-Make boxes and package products.\n-Maintain raw material supply to machines.\n-Rotate between work centers on a daily basis.\n-Keep equipment clean and maintain an orderly work center.\n-Learn to operateautomation and robotic equipment, in a clean, well-lit, air-conditionedmanufacturing plant.\n-Complete all employee training as well as participate in LEAN Kaizen events (E.g.5S) and lean manufacturing education/training.\n-Follow all safe work practices, work instructions, and policies.\n-Participate in toolboxtalks, town hall production meetings.\nEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLSAND KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS\n-Providesuggestions for improvement with company’s Yellow Card Suggestion system.\n-Hand and assembly skills.\n-Plastic machinery knowledge is a plus, if not, candidate must be willing to learn equipment, automation,and robotics.\n-Use of electric pallet jacks and other lift assisting equipment and/or the willingness to learn.\n-Simple math.\nWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS\n- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull 50 pounds.\n-Must be able to stand/walk for prolonged periods during shift.\n-Must be able to reach overhead, and crouch or squat intermittently.\nFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processesas permitted or required by applicable law.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
