This role focuses on maintaining and improving metrics such as, but not limited to, on-time delivery, inventory days on hand, working capital, and production efficiency.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nReviewing sales order backlog and scheduling respective multi-step work orders to the production floor\nReleasing, tracking, and updating work orders and run sheets\nWork with quality and operations on NCMRs (Non-Conforming Materials) and drive process improvement\nAdapting and adjusting the schedule according to unexpected production changes\nIdentify, evaluate, and address the root cause of bottlenecks in production\nSupport on-time delivery and inventory goals\nAttend cross-over, non-conforming materials, sales & operations, and any other meetings deemed necessary by manager\nOwn respective business segment planning meeting\nWalk the manufacturing floor as necessary\nResponsible for working with operations to develop an achievable monthly shipment forecast\nCoordinate with Planner I on any requirements needed to keep respective segment production flowing\nAssist Planner I with releasing subcomponent work orders to the production floor\nExtract, analyze, and present production data associated with respective segment\nSupport respective business segment production capacity planning \nAny other duties deemed necessary by the Manager\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nThis role requires a high level of attention to detail and work ethic\nKnowledge of production processes and quality control\nMath and analytical skills\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team and independently\nStrong Organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills while being deadline-driven\nHigh proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Suite, MRP/ERP systems; Microsoft Access is preferred\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:\nAt least five years of related manufacturing experience\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related discipline preferred\nKnowledge of ERP systems, including inventory control, bills of materials, and routing functions\nFamiliar with LEAN and 5S principles\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nAbility to stand and move around the production facility if needed.\nAbility to sit at a desk and conduct computer work for extended periods of time if needed\nMust be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds at a time\nFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processesas permitted or required by applicable law.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
