The Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement Coordinator will be close to both the process and the product, helping ensure quality expectations are met while also supporting Lean and CI initiatives across the operation.\nWhat You’ll Do\nThe Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement Coordinator will support product and process excellence by helping maintain quality standards, inspecting materials and finished goods, improving documentation, and leading continuous improvement activities. This role will partner closely with production employees, site leadership, and cross-functional teams to drive consistency, accountability, and operational improvement.\nKey responsibilities include:\nInspect incoming materials, purchased components, in-process product, and finished goods to ensure they meet established quality and testing standards.\nMonitor daily production quality, follow up on nonconformities, and support root cause analysis and corrective action activities.\nTrack, analyze, and communicate quality data, KPIs, defects, test results, process indicators, and quality trends.\nSupport the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance programs, policies, forms, and documentation.\nUpdate and maintain assembly line work instructions, production procedures, and quality-related documentation.\nLead and support Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives, including 5S, value stream mapping, Kaizen events, and waste reduction activities.\nHelp plan, implement, and sustain standardized processes that support quality, productivity, lead time, and competitiveness.\nProvide training and support to employees on quality, Lean, and CI tools, concepts, and best practices.\nParticipate in internal and external audits related to quality assurance and continuous improvement.\nPartner with employees and departments to identify improvement opportunities and coordinate process improvement initiatives.\nCollaborate with the corporate Lean team and Marmon partners to support alignment, reporting, and communication.\nSupport the selection, calibration, and proper use of quality control equipment, including inspection gauges.\nGuide vendors and contractors on quality requirements, testing procedures, and corrective actions when needed.\nContribute to customer support activities related to quality, compliance, and product expectations.\nSupport a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement across the site.\nWhat You’ll Need\nBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality, or a related field; equivalent work experience may also be considered.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, Lean, continuous improvement, or operational excellence.\n3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.\nStrong quality assurance experience with exposure to Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.\nExperience inspecting materials, in-process product, and finished goods.\nStrong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to identify quality issues, recommend corrective and preventive actions, and support process improvements.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nExperience working with quality systems and quality documentation.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.\nAbility to work independently, stay self-motivated, and help build processes in a growing operation.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, adapt, and manage multiple deadlines.\nCommitment to health, safety, quality, and operational excellence.\nThis position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.\nWhat Will Set You Apart\nExperience with ERP systems;
