You will drive collaboration with cross-functional teams, leverage technical strategy and best practices, and lead the successful execution of projects. In this role, you will further develop technical subject-matter expertise while contributing significantly to MFT’s growth and innovation.\nWhat You’ll Do\nActively lead and / or participate in project teams focused on New Product Development, Continuous Product Improvement, or Feature Innovation.\n\nLead the design, testing, and reviews for refrigeration-based sealed systems across all product lines as a functional expert\n\nLead problem solving activities using 8D methodology to identify root cause of issues and oversee development/implementation of a corrective action plan.\n\nUtilize mathematical and computer-based engineering analyses to design innovative and reliable solutions for cooling systems across many different product types\n\nDevelop technical drawings, models, and specifications using engineering software and tools\n\nConduct testing, collect and analyze data, and interpret test results to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of engineering solutions\n\nIdentify areas for improvement, troubleshoot technical issues, and propose and implement design modifications of existing product lines\n\nLead collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure project goals are met\n\nStay up to date with the latest advancements, industry trends, and technological innovations in cooling systems, sealed systems, and refrigerated product designs\n\nActively participate in continuous learning and professional development activities, including attending training programs, workshops, and conferences\n\nWho You Are\nIndependent Self-Starter: Takes prompt, proactive action to accomplish work goals with limited oversight\n\nCollaborative Partner: Uses interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams\n\nStrategic Thinker: Relies on analytical and problem-solving skills to think strategically and execute tactically\n\nClear Communicator: Speaks and writes effectively to convey technical information, project requirements, and progress updates to team members and stakeholders\n\nSkills/Experience We’re Looking For\nIce maker refrigeration design and system balancing experience\n\nExperience with flammable, low-GWP refrigerants and control system safety.\n\nStrong knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and concepts as they relate to sealed systems and cooling methods\n\nProficiency in thermal simulation software\n\nAbility to plan and oversee laboratory testing with hands-on approach to prototype development\n\nAbility to organize and manage multiple sub-projects in parallel, or multiple system variants in different stages of a project\n\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in work\n\nEffective interpersonal skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly\n\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s or Master's in Engineering or a related field\n\n10+ years of relevant experience in an engineering role\n\n Benefits\nWe support your well-being with comprehensive and easy-to-use benefits that you’ll be eligible to enroll in on your first day of employment.
