We are seeking1st and 2nd Shift Sewing Assemblers to work in our Shop to support the manufacture of Filter Housings\n**1st Shift Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm (Monday-Friday) **\n**2nd Shift Hours: 2:00pm-10:30pm (Monday-Friday)**\nSEWING ASSEMBLER\nCut materials such as polyester, cotton, fiberglass with scissors and/or retractable blade.\nSew above materials using needle and thread.\nInstall pleated packs over and/or into metal and/or plastic cores.\nSide Seal ends of pleated packs using a variety of methods including, but not limited to\nGluing, using hand-held hot melt glue gun with finger trigger\n\nStapling, using conventional stapler\n\nSonobonding\n\nInstalling metal clips, using hand-held pliers, vise grips, etc\n\nAttach gaskets made of material s listed above using hot melt applicator\nPerform a variety of other assembly operations.\nPackage the product using plastic bags, wraps, filler paper, and/or cardboard boxes, and applying labels.\nRequirements of the position\nHigh School Graduation or Equivalent\nPrevious Sewing and Assembly experience\nAbility to read tape measure, calipers\nAbility to read and be able to follow written instructions\nCapability to lift and carry 30lbs for 20 feet\nNormal Manual dexterity, strength, and mobility of shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, fingers.\nPay Range:\n17.00We offer a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, and more!\nFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processesas permitted or required by applicable law.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
