Working as part of a collaborative and skilled maintenance team, this role supports ongoing operations by performing inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on surface and aerial lifts, chalets, utility systems, and various tools and equipment.\nThe successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic mountain environment and be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. This is a full-time, year-round position featuring a compressed workweek of four 10-hour shifts.\nAlberta Employment Standards regarding probationary periods apply.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCollaborate with other Millwrights, Apprentices, Electricians, and team members to execute daily maintenance tasks.\nConduct and document preventative maintenance and repairs on:\nSurface and above-surface lift systems\nBuildings, chalets, and utility outbuildings\nVacusan systems, potable and non-potable water systems, and waste treatment systems\nSnowmaking infrastructure including pumps, filtration, chlorination, and heat tracing\nMaintain compliance with all relevant safety codes, manufacturer schedules, and insurance requirements.\nEnsure maintenance and construction work (staff- or contractor-led) meets current codes and safety standards.\nMaintain hand and shop tools in safe, functional condition.\nComplete work orders accurately and thoroughly.\nFollow OH&S regulations and RMSI-JTAC safety policies at all times.\nProvide prompt radio or phone communication to support maintenance coordination.\nKeep workspaces clean and organized; return tools and materials to proper storage.\nRespond to emergency situations as directed.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nJourneyperson (Red Seal) Certification as a Millwright required.\nApprentices (1st, 2nd, or 3rd Year) will be considered.\nTraining or experience in hydraulics, electrical, plumbing, or construction is an asset.\nStrong understanding of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) regulations and practices.\nPrior experience in the ski industry or a related setting is preferred.\nRisk management knowledge or training is an advantage.\nCore Competencies:\nProfessional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.\nConfident and courteous in high-stress or fast-paced situations.\nCommitted to safety, quality, and customer service excellence.\nKey Attributes:\nTeam-oriented with the ability to both lead and follow instructions.\nProactive and observant;
