Ready to make an impact Welcome to Maropost and you can turn ideas into action!\n\nWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Golang to join our engineering team and build scalable, high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Golang, concurrency, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems, along with hands-on experience designing and developing reliable microservices in a product-based environment.\n\nIn this role, you will take ownership of features end-to-end, contribute to architectural and system design decisions, and work closely with cross-functional teams to build robust, scalable solutions that support high-volume messaging and e-commerce workloads.\n\nWhat You'll Be Responsible For\n\nPlay a key role in architectural decisions, translating business requirements into a stable, high-performance, and efficient distributed microservices architecture.\nApply deep knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and space/time complexity to build memory-efficient, event-driven components capable of handling mass messaging and e-commerce scales.\nWrite scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable backend code with a primary focus on Golang, supplemented by Python workflows.\nDrive high standards of product quality by analyzing code and conducting rigorous peer reviews to ensure timely project delivery and marked application improvements.\nTroubleshoot critical production issues and coordinate seamlessly with the deployment team to streamline CI/CD code deployment.\nWrite clean, readable code and document technical specifications (including effective Godoc comments and API schemas).\n\nWhat You'll Bring To Maropost\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a highly relevant field.\n10 years of professional backend software development experience within an Agile/SCRUM team environment.\nExperience working in a product-based engineering environment, dealing with microservices, scalable distributed infrastructure, and event-driven paradigms.\nDeep, production-level knowledge of the Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, idioms, and common Goroutine and channel patterns.\nGo Frameworks & Ecosystem: Proven experience with: Popular Go web frameworks (e.g., Revel, Gin, Echo) and router packages like Gorilla Mux.\nGo's templating language and code generation tools (e.g., Stringer).\nGo dependency management workflows.\nHands-on engineering experience using Python for asynchronous backend scripting, services, or data utilities.\nWorking knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL environments.\nA strong problem-solving attitude with the ability to work completely independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.\nExposure to or experience with Ruby on Rails is an added advantage.\nFamiliarity with Git and version control workflows.\nYou exemplify Maropost's Values: \n\nCustomer Obsessed\n\nExtreme Urgency\n\nExcellence\n\nResourceful\n\nMessage from the Founders: Maropost is looking for builders -
