Welcome to Maropost and you can turn ideas into action!\nAs a Software Engineer (Full-Stack - GoLang), focusing primarily on the backend on our team, you'll be working with other engineers to further develop and architect our search and merchandizing as a service product.\nThe GoLang backend is responsible for several microservices, from managing the product configuration to integration with various platforms. The main database is PostgreSQL, and we also use cool tech such as Apache Pulsar. On the frontend we have our main back-office dashboard written in vue.js and we develop and maintain integrations for our customer's e-commerce stores as a react based SDK and, more recently, also packaged natively for specific platforms such as Shopify.\nWe’re an empowered product team, firmly committed to collaborative problem solving. We write specs and share the decision-making. We work in two-week sprints to deliver greatness.\nWhat you'll be responsible for:\nBuild and manage REST API stack for Maropost Web Apps.\nGiven the architecture strategy related to our big data, analytics and cloud native product vision, work on the concrete architecture design and when necessary, prototype it\nUnderstanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions.\nDrive innovation within the engineering team, identifying opportunities to improve processes, tools, and technologies\nDrive the architecture and design governance for systems, and products under scope, as well as code and design reviews.\nTechnical leadership of the development team and ensuring that they follow industry-standard best practices\nEvaluating and improving the tools and frameworks used in software development\nWhat you'll bring to Maropost:\nB.E/B.Tech from Top-ranked colleges.\n3+ years of experience with building including design and architecting backend applications, web apps & analytics preferably in commerce cloud or marketing automation domain.\nExperience in deploying applications at scale in production systems.\nExperience with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL etc)\nExperience in building and managing API endpoints for multimodal clients.\nEnthusiasm to learn and contribute to a challenging & fun-filled startup.\nA knack for problem-solving and following efficient coding practices.\nAdvanced HLD, LLD, Design Patterns knowledge is a must.\n3+ years hands-on experience with GoLang.\nOpen-source databases and caching: Redis, Memcache, MySQL\nCloud services: Managing infrastructure with basic services from GCP or AWS, such as VMs, Kubernetes clusters, and Load Balancers.\nOpen-source WAF tools and firewalls: Fail2ban, ModSecurity, Coraza.\nFrontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React JS, Vue JS.\nVersion control and CI/CD: Git, Jenkins, Argo CD, Spinnaker, Terraform\nYou exemplify Maropost’s Values: \nCustomer Obsessed \nExtreme Urgency \nExcellence \nResourceful \nMessage from the Founders:Maropost is looking for builders -
