Be part of a company where your work supports a mission that makes a difference-apply today!\nMaterial & Logistics Coordinator I\nPosition Profile:\nThe Material Coordinator is responsible for supplying materials to support production, the accuracy of available floor stock levels including product in the Fastenal VMI machine and managing the flow of the receipt of materials to ensure timely availability for production cells. This position requires coordinating with various departments to maintain a smooth supply chain process while tracking and expediting parts as needed including non-conforming product through the NCR process.\nSkills/Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nMinimum of three months related experience\nExperience with supporting production lines\nESD knowledge, able to understand routers and plan accordingly\nProficient in MS Excel\nMRP knowledge\nAble to communicate clearly both written and verbally\nSense of urgency and desire/ability to see activities through to completion\nSelf-starter, can work with little direction or supervision\nEpicor business systems knowledge\n Essential Duties / Responsibilities:\nAttend daily production meetings to establish list of potential expedites\nTrack work orders and help drive to completion\nPrioritize work orders for picking on the stockroom dispatch list\nTrack and prioritize WO’s in the Machine Shop and Machine Shop Inspection\nSplit work orders\nManage prioritization and work with Machine Shop Managers for A&T ticket requests for Production Engineers\nGenerate purchase requisitions for outside processing\nTrack hot purchase orders to ensure on time deliveries\nCommunicates nonconformance part issues with Planning, Supply Chain, Production Team and Program Management to aid in timely resolution\nWorks with Supply Chain to resolve incoming PO paperwork issues\nManages material flow from inception through completion\nManages component shortages to resolution\nWorks closely with all functional areas of the business, including but not limited to Engineering, Quality, Accounting, and Operations to find timely resolution to schedule attainment issues\nWith minimal supervision, ensure that material flow and related activities are coordinated, executed, documented (as required) and brought to closure in a timely manner through effective interaction with individuals within the Marotta organization.\nHelps verify and maintain product identification and count\nCommunicates with leads and technicians to determine schedule of work for pulling materials\nInvestigates work order and purchase order discrepancies and resolves with leads, Planning or Supply Chain\nManage data integrity by addressing aging parts in WIP, MMR, SWEEP and Receiving Inspection\nEnsures items in the Fastenal VMI machine are adequate to meet Production needs and picks up usage trends by Production to ensure proper stock levels at all times\nManage floor stock for the business unit’s consumable items for both locations (items not in the Fastenal VMI machine) paying special attention to expiration items\nOversees component part spare orders from getting the parts pulled, inspected and out the door on time.\nCoordinate chemical compliance with Health and Safety Manager\nSupports department goals and objectives for quality and on time delivery\nPhysical Requirements:\nStanding, sitting and squatting can be expected with lifting or other means of transfer involving tools, fixtures, carts, hoist, containers, etc.\nSpecific vision abilities required include close/distance vision, peripheral/depth perception and ability to focus.\nThe employee may be required to lift, push, pull and/or move items weighing up to 45 pounds \n Work Environment:\nPosition entails exposure to typical manufacturing (i.e. Machine Shop, Assembly, Testing, etc.) environments inclusive of the appropriate eye, hearing and foot protection (as required).\nNote:The duties and responsibilities listed here serve as an example of the typical activities associated with this position.
