Be part of a company where your work supports a mission that makes a difference-apply today!\nSoftware Engineer - Automated Test Equipment\nPosition Summary:\nMarotta Controls is seeking a Software Engineer to support the development of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for the Power and Control Actuation Systems (PAS) business unit. The applicant should have a background in Software Engineering with experience in embedded software development and/or hardware (equipment) automation.\nEssential or Primary / Key Responsibilities:\nParticipate in the development of System Requirements Documentation and provide support through the development life cycle (PDR, CDR, Validation, Fielding). \nDevelop Software Design Documents (including Test Plans). \nDesign and Implement High Level GUI Windows Applications in C# using Visual Studio IDE. Database Backend (MS SQL, SQLite, etc.) experience is a plus. \nDesign and implement firmware in C using TI’s Code Composer. \nExperience with LabView (Real Time and LabView FPGA is a plus) \nAble to use and program various laboratory equipment (e.g. power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) used to automate testing. \nTroubleshoot, debug, and diagnose issues with test equipment systems and determine root cause and corrective actions (RCCA) \nWork with outside vendors and suppliers. \nQualifications:\nB.S. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar is required \nExperience in Test Engineering / Test Equipment design \nExperience designing test systems utilizing a Test Console and Interface Test Adapter (ITA) \nMust be a US Citizen \nRequired Skills:\nSoftware: Visual Studio, MS Visio, MS Office \nPrograming Languages: C#, LabView, MS SQL, SQLite \nData/Communication Types: Analog I/O, Digital I/O, IEEE-488, I²C, SPI, USB, CAN, RS-485/422/232, Serial, TCP/IP, J-TAG \nAdditional Skills Preferred:\nTest equipment hardware selection. Electrical schematic generation. EEE parts selection. \nProject planning, monitoring, and reporting \nExperience in PCB layout and routing \nSoftware: LabVIEW, LabView Real Tim, LabView FPGA, OrCAD, LT Spice \nPay Range: $110,000 - $123,000 per year\nThis position is at our Parsippany, NJ office location.\nMany of our contracts require proof that you are a U.S. citizen and/or that an export license has been obtained for employees who are citizens of certain countries.
