We’d love for you to join us!\nThis position is for an existing vacancy.\nThe Impact You’ll Have\nPartner directly with Product and Engineering leadership to understand hiring needs and build a recruiting strategy for each role\n\nOwn full cycle recruiting for Product and Technology roles, from intake through offer, with a strong focus on candidate experience\n\nBuild and maintain strong pipelines of product, software engineering, and other technical talent, with particular attention to candidates who bring fintech or payments experience\n\nAct as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on market data, leveling, and how to position Marqeta competitively for both product and engineering talent\n\nFlex across disciplines, taking on Product, Engineering, and adjacent technical searches as business needs evolve\n\nContinuously refine sourcing and interview approaches, including technical assessment and evaluation practices, to keep pace with a fast growing Product and Engineering org\n\nWho You Are\n8+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on Product and Technology/Engineering roles\n\nDemonstrated ability to recruit across both product and engineering disciplines, and comfort moving between them as priorities change\n\nWorking knowledge of engineering roles, tech stacks, and technical concepts, enough to screen effectively, build credibility with engineers, and partner with technical hiring managers\n\nExperience recruiting in fintech, payments, or another highly regulated industry\n\nA track record of managing a high volume, high urgency requisition load without sacrificing candidate experience\n\nStrong communication skills and comfort partnering with senior stakeholders\n\nExperience working in a modern ATS\n\nExperience recruiting for both individual contributor and leadership level roles across Product and Engineering\n\nFamiliarity with structured interview and scorecard methodology, including technical assessments and coding or system design interview loops\n\nTypical Process\nApplication submission\n\nRecruiter phone call\n\nHiring manager video call\n\nVirtual onsite consisting of 3 to 4, 45 minute calls\n\nOffer!\n\nCompensation and Benefits\nMarqeta calibrates pay to a competitive value according to working location. When determining salaries, we consider several factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior experience, and work location. The new-hire base salary range for this full-time position, reflected in CAD, is: $119,800 - $149,800\nWe also believe in recognizing the contributions of our people.
