This internship provides hands-on exposure to learning and development, business operations, communication, data analysis, and the maritime industry. No maritime or safety experience is required, we are looking for someone who is curious, organized, willing to learn, and ready to contribute.\n\nPrincipal Responsibilities:\nSupport the Safety & Training team in developing and implementing training programs for vessel and shore-based employees, ensuring alignment with company objectives and safety standards.\nParticipate in training sessions, employee orientations, and other hands-on learning activities, with opportunities to develop and deliver training content.\nHelp review and update training content to reflect changes in safety procedures, technology, and industry best practices.\nTrack and document employee training progress, certifications, and evaluations to support compliance and promotion processes.\nProvide administrative support for training initiatives, including scheduling sessions, preparing materials, and maintaining training databases.\nResearch industry trends and regulatory updates to support the integration of best practices into training programs.\nAssist in gathering feedback from participants and compiling reports to measure training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.\nOther duties and projects as assigned.\n\nQualifications:\nCurrently seeking an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Safety, or related fields. \nEager to learn and enthusiastic about developing skills in safety, training, and employee development.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.\nAnalytical mindset with the ability to gather, interpret, and present data to support training effectiveness.\nStrong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to collaborate in a team environment.\nConfidence in public speaking and able to develop the ability to deliver training content accurately and effectively.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new
