The ideal candidate must possess extensive experience in cloud administration, database management, security architecture, environment automation, and operational excellence across Oracle Cloud platforms. This role is responsible for managing the administration, security, performance, automation, and governance of Oracle cloud environments while providing technical leadership and guidance to development and support teams.\nCANDIDATE PROFILE Education and ExperienceRequired\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n8+ years of progressive experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise-scale software applications, integrations, and digital platforms including: 6+ years of experience working with Oracle Database & Platform. \n6+ years of hands-on experience administering Cloud SaaS, Paas & IaaS. Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle EPM Cloud, OCI, ATP, and Oracle PaaS services. \n5+ years of experience managing environment refreshes, backups, migrations, and configuration deployments\n3+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) administration and operations. \nExperience implementing SSL certificates, security controls, identity management, and access governance. \nProven experience developing automation solutions for cloud administration and operational processes. \nDeep understanding of cloud platform architecture, database administration, and security best practices. \nExpertise in database security, privilege management, and governance. \nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills. \n\nPreferred\nMaster's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.\nOracle Cloud Certifications\nExperience supporting enterprise-scale Oracle ERP and EPM implementations. \nExperience with OCI networking, IAM, monitoring, logging, and cloud governance services. \nKnowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and cloud automation frameworks. \nExperience with scripting and automation using Python, Shell Scripting, REST APIs, OCI CLI, and related technologies.\nCORE WORK ACTIVITIESOracle ERP, EPM Administration & Operations\nAdminister and support Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle EPM Cloud, OCI PaaS services, ATP databases, and OCI environments. \nManage environment provisioning, refreshes, backups, restore processes, cloning activities, and configuration migrations. \nMonitor and maintain platform stability, availability, reliability, and operational performance. \nDevelop and maintain operational procedures and platform administration standards. \nDatabase & Cloud Infrastructure Management\nGovern and Perform database administration activities including privilege management, user provisioning, database health monitoring, and performance optimization. \nImplement database governance standards and promote best practices in data model design and security. \nGovern & Manage ATP databases and associated OCI infrastructure services. \nConduct capacity planning, performance monitoring, and issue resolution. \nAdminister and manage AIDP Data Lake & Spark clusters. \nSecurity & Compliance\nDesign, implement, and maintain security frameworks for Oracle ERP, EPM, OCI, ATP, and PaaS environments. \nManage role-based access controls, segregation of duties, and security configurations. \nEstablish security governance processes and ensure adherence to organizational security policies. \nProvide technical guidance on SSL implementation, security protocols, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.\nCertificate Management\nManage public and private SSL certificates across Oracle cloud environments. \nDevelop and maintain processes for certificate lifecycle management, including issuance, renewal, monitoring, tracking, and compliance. \nCoordinate certificate deployments and ensure timely renewals to prevent service disruptions.\nAutomation & DevOps Enablement\nDesign and implement environment administration, monitoring, and configuration automation solutions. \nDevelop automated processes for environment setup, migration, patching, validation, and operational health checks. \nBuild reusable frameworks to improve platform efficiency, scalability, and reliability. \nPromote Infrastructure-as-Code and automation best practices where applicable. \nEPM Performance & Optimization\nLeverage EPM Automate and cloud administration tools to monitor Oracle EPM environments. \nAnalyze and optimize BSO and ASO cube performance. \nIdentify opportunities for tuning application performance, data load processes, metadata management, and business rule execution. \nImplement proactive monitoring and performance management processes. \nTechnical Leadership\nServe as a subject matter expert for Oracle ERP, EPM, OCI, ATP, and PaaS technologies. \nProvide guidance and support to development, integration, and platform engineering teams. \nReview architecture, security, and operational designs to ensure alignment with enterprise standards. \nMentor team members on Oracle cloud administration best practices. \nAt Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
