Pursue your passion and grow your expertise at Abu Dhabi’s best address-The St. Regis Abu Dhabi, the house of luxury who is awarded with the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star Rating.\nJob Requirement:\nThe Kitchen and refrigeration technician is responsible for the maintenance of kitchen and laundry equipment and related appliances in the hotel and makes sure overall equipment are in greatest condition.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :\nAttend daily briefing \nPerforms major and/or minor repair and maintenance of kitchen equipment including hot cooking and refrigeration equipment as well Laundry equipment.\nFollow the routine Preventive& corrective Maintenance task activity of kitchen & laundry equipment and recorded accordingly. All electrical and gas operated equipment to be repaired and maintained at high standard.\nMake sure all kitchen & laundry equipment in proper and in good working condition. \nResponsible for coordination and prioritizing repair tasks to respond in a timely manner and provide timely repairs and reduced downtime. \nImplement the task activity in Restaurant, Back of House, Kitchen and Laundry equipment and others hotel area for troubleshooting or routine Preventive Maintenance activity.\nHandle the routine checklist for overall kitchen compliance in the property with HACCP and hygiene standards\nMaintain all lighting in laundry & kitchen area including lighting at cold rooms, fridge etc\nUpdate daily performance and follow up in Log Book\nPerform any other duties that may be assigned to him\nAble to work any shift that is assigned to him by Management or Supervisor\nAssist to others section or technician in overall activity, especially for electrician\nAssist Duty Engineer to re-stock the daily consumable material in workshop area such as Essential and consumable material\nOrder and maintain inventory of equipment spare parts as needed\nResponsible for attending new equipment training.\nTraining and demonstrating team members in the proper safe use and operation of equipment. \nInspect and verify the operation and safety of commercial kitchen appliances. \nKnowledge of commercial refrigeration and kitchen equipment\nUse of critical thinking and problem solving skills in troubleshooting. \nAble to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with all people including those from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds. \nIdentify and correct unsafe conditions and practices. Identify, document and notify supervisors of damage, abuse and negligent use of equipment. \nRecognize the importance of safety in the workplace.\nFollow safety rules such as HACCP, ADFCA, OSHAD.
