Position strives to ensure guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing the department financial performance.\nCANDIDATE PROFILE\nEducation and Experience\nHigh school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the laundry, housekeeping, or related professional area.\nCORE WORK ACTIVITIES\nManaging Department Operations and Budgets\nManaging day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis.\nSupervising and managing employees. Managing all day-to-day operations. Understanding employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.\nCommunicating the importance of safety procedures, detailing procedure codes, ensuring employee understanding of safety codes, monitoring processes and procedures related to safety.\nComprehends budgets, operating statements and payroll progress reports as needed to assist in the financial management of department.\nEnsures consistent workflow to minimize peaks and valleys in production.\nBrings issues to the attention of the department manager and Human Resources as necessary.\nUsing relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.\nSupervises daily Laundry shift operations and ensures compliance with all policies, standards and procedures.\nOrdering and managing necessary supplies.
