And also maintain the beautification of the lawns and gardens in order to attract guests to hotels lush and green surroundings.\nSCOPE / BUSINESS CONTEXT\nA Full Time position based at Al Maha Desert Resort and Spa, The Luxury Collection.\nNumber of Direct Reports - 0\nTitles of Direct Reports - \nCANDIDATE PROFILE\nExperience:\nMinimum 3 years of related work experience.\n3 years hotel engineering work experience.\nSPECIFIC DUTIES\nThe following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:\nMaintenance Cleaner Duties and Responsibilities:\nPrerequisites:\nSoil cultivation, digging, and forking, mulching, watering, raking, weeding, edging, pruning, seed sowing, bed preparation and planting.\nThe use and maintenance of hand tools and basic light machinery.\nThe use of cylinder and rotary mowers, strimmer’s, leaf blowers.\nAdjustments of mower height and quality of cut, etc.\nOil level checks and check for damage to any mower.\nReport equipment malfunctions to engineering as and when noticed.\nTo be aware of Health and Safety requirements noting that all duties must be carried out to comply with current Health & Safety at Work legislation.\nTo ensure all equipment, machinery is stored securely and clean after use.\nPlant and transplant flowers, shrubs, trees and lawns.\nMaintain gardens by naturally fertilizing, trimming and making sure that plants are receiving adequate irrigation water.\nPrune trees and hedges in ways that help the plants' health, are safe and look good.\nMaintain lawn and grass areas using machinery, natural fertilizers but no chemicals.\nTo keep the gardens, thoroughfares and pathways clear and free from litter at all times.\nMake sure irrigation system are working good condition.\nPruning and cutting hedges.\nOutside maintenance including pathways, pond, steps, walls etc.\nTiding up and cleaning outside of the main building/SPA & car parks.\nKeep the tool shed / store room clean and tidy.\nGood knowledge of plants must be organized and able to follow schedule.\nEnsure following areas around villas SPA building main building board room building and pathways clean and tidy at all the time. \nEnsure maintenance building area clean and tidy at all the time.\nIn joining Marriott Hotels, you join a portfolio of brands with Marriott International.
