The role serves as the primary owner of critical data processes underpinning the month-end close, forecast, business planning and annual budget cycles across the entire EMEA portfolio.\nThe position is responsible for managing the end-to-end loading, validation, reconciliation and governance of financial and operational data supporting more than one thousand hotels across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The role ensures the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of data used by continent leadership, regional teams, hotels and MIHQ stakeholders.\nIn addition, the role leads the development and enhancement of Power BI reporting solutions, supports the migration to modern data platforms including Microsoft Fabric, and drives continuous improvement through automation, standardization and innovation.\nSCOPE\nThe Power BI / Data Manager provides data management, reporting, business intelligence, governance and user support across EMEA Finance, with specific ownership of key data processes supporting month-end close, forecast, business planning and budget cycles.\nFinancial Cycle Data Management\nOwn and lead all month-end, forecast, business planning and budget cycle data loads across the EMEA portfolio.\nManage data collection, validation, transformation and loading processes into reporting platforms.\nEnsure timely and accurate delivery of reporting data supporting key finance deadlines.\nIdentify, investigate and resolve data quality issues in partnership with regional and hotel finance teams.\nReporting & Analytics\nLead development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions supporting EMEA Finance Operations.\nDrive reporting standardization and enhancement opportunities across the continent.\nDeliver actionable insights and analytics to support decision making.\nSupport migration and development activities within Microsoft Fabric and the broader Microsoft data ecosystem.\nData Governance & Controls\nImplement robust controls ensuring completeness, accuracy and consistency of financial information.\nEstablish data standards, documentation and governance processes.\nMaintain strong auditability and transparency across reporting datasets.\nAutomation & Continuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to automate manual finance and reporting processes.\nLeverage Power Platform, Power Query, SQL and related technologies to improve efficiency.\nSupport innovation initiatives that enhance reporting effectiveness and reduce manual effort.\nStakeholder Management\nPartner with continent, regional and hotel finance teams throughout all financial cycles.\nAct as the primary point of contact for planning and reporting data requirements.\nProvide training and support to reporting users and key stakeholders.\nCANDIDATE PROFILE\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business or related discipline.\nMinimum 4-6 years of experience in business intelligence, finance reporting, data management or analytics.\nDemonstrated experience supporting planning, forecasting and reporting processes.\nAdvanced Power BI experience required.\nExperience with financial systems, data warehousing and reporting platforms preferred.\nHospitality, finance operations or multinational company experience preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills and Attributes\nAdvanced Power BI development skills including DAX, Power Query and data modelling.\nStrong Excel expertise and experience managing large datasets.\nExperience with SQL and database management.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform and modern reporting technologies.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills.\nStrong project management, planning and organizational skills.\nAbility to manage multiple deadlines and priorities within a fast-paced finance environment.\nEXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS\nDeliver all data loads accurately and on time for month-end close, forecast, business planning and budget cycles.\nEnsure high levels of data integrity and reporting reliability.\nImprove efficiency through automation and process enhancement.\nSupport strategic reporting and analytical requirements across EMEA Finance Operations.\nDevelop scalable reporting solutions that improve business visibility and decision making.\nFoster strong partnerships with stakeholders across the continent.\nContinuously enhance the reporting environment and data management processes.\nMANAGEMENT COMPETENCIES\nLeadership\nCommunication;
